Celebrate Summer & Back to School
It's the end of summer and time for Back-to-School. So, many of us have summer photos and want to craft for back-to-school time! Well, we have great ideas for both today from Marina BlauKitchen and Pam Bray! You will love their project ideas in store for us today.
First, Marina has a gorgeous tag album with Voyage Beneath the Sea that are perfect for summer photos of all types!

Now, get into back-to-school mode with Pam! She has a fun tutorial for this desk organizer set!
"Tip:
1. Use washi tape to secure chipboard pieces together to form dimensional projects.
2. Use washi tape to cover exposed chipboard to give projects a finished look." ~Pam
Step-by-Step Tutorial
- Die cut 3 sets of canisters using Matboard. Leave one canister set alone, cut 1” off one set of canisters and 2” of the last set of canister sides.
2. Form canisters.
3. Apply washi tape to top and bottom of prepared canister.
4. Adhere pattern paper to prepared canisters.
5. Adhere die cut borders to canisters.
6. Decorate each of the canisters with chipboard embellishments.
7. Fill each of the canisters with tags and other supplies.
8. Add doily die cuts to lids of canisters.
9. Adhere metal circles and knobs to lids.
10. Cut chipboard base for stand 1” longer that the three canisters.
11. Cut chipboard sides 1” x the length of the chipboard base.
12. Apply washi tape to the chipboard bottom and sides to form box. Apply washi tape around the top edges of formed stand.
13. Adhere pattern paper to the formed canister stand.
14. Add handles and legs to stand.
15. Adhere sticker and chipboard to front of stand.

More great projects, of course! I love anything using Voyage Beneath the Sea - it's my all-time favorite collection! And I really appreciate Pam's tip about putting the washi tape on the edges before putting on the paper - I always try putting it on after and it usually starts to peel away.
