Start Your Holiday DIY cards with St. Nicholas!
We know many of our papercrafters have already started their holiday cards and gifts! So, we wanted to give you some inspiration with our fun collection St. Nicholas! This project is by the amazing Sandy Trefger with beautiful pop-up elements. How fun!
Who loves the holidays? We join Sandy with her great love for them and for creating beautiful projects in honor of them. Homemade projects are perfect for gifts and beyong! How fun!
"Christmas is another one of my favorite times of the year and I love to give special cards especially to my husband’s Aunt Mary. She loves Christmas too and even though she will be 93 this year, she still decorates her beautiful Christmas tree. For this card, I decided to make it a double pop up with two sections to the card and of course to create and put it inside a special box. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and this St Nicholas collection by Graphic 45 is so perfect for your special projects for the season. Happy Crafting!" ~ Sandy
Tip: When doing pop up elements such as those in this boxed Christmas card, fussy cut out the images you want to pop up and make sure that they do not pop out of the top or sides of your card when the card is closed. Plan the structure of your pop ups at different depths and heights to give the project dimension in some areas. Don’t be afraid to layer images over other images that have already been attached. Just make sure that everything pop up!

Yes, I started my Christmas cards in August - I don't like getting caught at the last minute! I've been making some pop-up birthday cards this year, but none as intricate or beautiful as Sandy's!
