A Year in Review with Graphic 45

 

Sandy Trefger seriously wows today with her 2016 Year in Review album using Nature Sketchbook! The pages, the colors, the cover - all of it is pure perfection. Take a look at this amazing album:

"In my busy life, I find that right now I just don’t have time to scrapbook all my photos but I still want to have something to look at to remember the special events and occasions.  A Year in Review Album is the perfect way to showcase a few favorite photos from each year and Graphic 45 makes it so easy!  For my 2016 Year in Review Album, I decided to use the Graphic 45 Mixed Media Album.  The book is already made for you and even comes with dividers and pages!  When I received their newest paper collection, Nature Sketchbook, I knew it was perfect for 2016!  My mother loved to garden and when I see the beautiful flowers and butterflies in this collection, it makes me think of her.   If you love this idea and would like to create your own Year in Review Album, I have a tutorial video for this project to show how I set up my pages and added in some pockets and flaps.  I apologize in advance as it is a long video but there were a lot of details that I wanted to share. I found a wonderful quote that perfectly shares the theme of my 2016 Year in Review Album and I wrote it on my first or splash page of the book:

Tip:

For a Year in Review album, narrow down your photo selections if possible to just one or two for each month. This will help to keep your book from becoming too thick, but if that does happen just add a pretty ribbon tie closure.  Choose photos that best tell your story or the ones that are your favorite. Remember to create some journaling blocks to add to your pages or to tuck into a pocket or envelope of those occasions that you don’t have any photos of or to provide more details.
