Happy Monday to our amazing G45ers! We're going to kick off this brand new, beautiful week with cards! Aneta Matuszewska and Olga Heldwein show off their cardmaking talents with us with gorgeous cards for all occasions. Let's first take a look at Aneta's great card:
"Girly and sweet birthday card made basically with Café Parisian and with a pocket from Children’s Hour collection." ~Aneta
Olga shares a gorgeous Valentine's Day card set! We love these beauties:
" For those cards I use February sheets from Place in time collection – If you like vintage images and like to have matching tags and pictures this collection is perfect for you you get amazing vintage graphic for each month of year with matching tags and small elements to cut out . I Incorporated some of "left” sides of ST. Nick and some leftovers from old projects from Ladies Diary collection. To make my cards more vintage looking i aged edges with G45 inks ( for perfect brown i mix Venetian Lace and Cashmere o my inking tool – don't worry your pads will not get stained from picking up two colors with one sponge )." ~Olga
Tip: For cards I almost never cut new sheet of paper I usually pick up some leftovers – always saving all scraps of paper in separate bag with collection of papers that i cut them from – Its good way to use all pretty G45 papers to last scrap :)

"I made a calendar –album for the next year for myself and I used Chidren’s Hour collection and Kraftboard Easel Album 8x8. One each page there is one month. Our creative designers now take Nature Sketchbook to make gorgeous Valentine's Day projects! Kathy Clement and Nico Scrap have awesome ideas + tutorials for us today that will take your breath away! Let's take a look at Kathy's amazing Valentine's project:
"I love Valentine’s Day! What’s not to love about a day that focuses on love, pretty cards and chocolate? Growing up, Valentine’s Day had special significance in our family as Mom and Dad eloped on Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t get any more romantic than that! Every year, my dad gave my mom a beautiful Valentine/Anniversary card and more often than not, butterflies could be found on it. You see, the very first card my dad ever gave my mom when they were courting had beautiful butterflies on the front cover, so butterflies became a symbol of their love for one another.
When the gorgeous Nature Sketchbook collection was released with all those fabulous butterflies, I just knew I had to use it to create a butterfly themed Valentine in tribute to my mom and dad. I created a little Valentine wallet with a pair of long policy envelopes, and then added some sweet surprises to make it worthy of the holiday. I hope you enjoy!" ~Kathy
Tip:Staples long tags fit perfectly inside the Long Policy Envelopes. Create your own custom background by stamping a black tag with white pigment ink and embossing with super fine white embossing powder.
Tip:Add shimmer to your tag by spritzing it with Glimmer Mist. The stamped/embossed areas will resist the spray. But if you reheat the embossing powder lightly, the color beads will sink in, leaving lovely inky splatters behind.
Tip: Create a gift wallet by joining two policy envelopes together with washi tape.
Tip: Create a custom string tie by hot gluing chipboard buttons over the black ones found on the policy envelope.
Tip: Create an inside pocket by cutting a policy envelope along one seam. I show you how to do this in the Snapguide Tutorial for this project.
Tip:Customize metals by painting them with Black Soot Distress Paint
"My aunt is that kind of person that can do anything creative with great results. Some times ago she decided that she wanted some more wooden hearts for her house and so she bought some wood and a saw and made a lot of wooden hearts. Probably houndreds more than she really needed! So she decided to give some of those wooden hearts to me for make some Valentine’s day creation and that’s why i have decorated it!
I started cutting out some papers from the Nature Sketchbook collection and put them on the hearts, going on cutting butterflies, butterflies and more butterflies!" ~Nico Scrap

We are loving all the great Valentine ideas this week from our Design Team! Today, Katelyn Grosart shares a lovely album for this fun day. We love how she uses our Alphabet Banner Staples to create this beauty! Let's take a look:
"Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about creating those special projects for your loved ones. Today I’ve created a Love Mini Album for you using Children’s Hour, Café Parisian, Place In Time Deluxe Collectors Edition, Regular Policy Envelopes and Alpha Banners. This love mini album is perfect for documenting Valentine’s Day by adding little love notes and photos into each of the envelopes." ~Katelyn
Tip: Mix and match collections to create the perfect embellishments to add to the front of each envelope.
Tip: To add some extra interest to the Alpha Banner tags, add a piece of coordinating pattern paper in behind the letter.
Tip: Save the rings from the tag album staples and use one of the left over rings to hold your mini album together.
