Valentine's Day Cards with Graphic 45!
We are getting ready for the day of Love here at Graphic 45! Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we have some lovely card ideas for you today from Aneta Matuszewska and Sandy Trefger! First, we will see the gorgeous work of Aneta:
"Quick and easy Valentine’s card using 'Place in Time' collection. Very romantic with a pocket for a love note." ~Aneta
Supply List
1 Gift Tag Pocket Template ( back page of Café Parisian 12x12 )
Precious Memories
Place in Time - February
Sandy has more Valentine's Day fun for us today with Off to the Races! How great is this card?
"Red is one of my favorite colors so I love to use it when creating anything related to Valentine’s Day! And I love roses. Which means when I set out to make a Valentine Card for Graphic 45 that I went with the beautiful papers in the 8x8 Off to the Races pad. Such gorgeous roses in that paper collection and such lovely ladies too—all with a romantic, vintage look. I decided to use a gorgeous found silver metal photo frame to showcase some of the paper roses and altered it along with the Graphic 45 Door Plate & Knob by using sparkly silver embossing powders. I love how it worked on these two pieces and hope you’ll have a try at experimenting with different mediums. Happy Crafting!" ~Sandy
Tip: Don’t be afraid of altering metal pieces such as the Graphic 45 door plate and knob. The easiest way to do this is by dabbing the piece with embossing ink (I use an embossing dabber) and then sprinkling the piece with the chosen embossing powder. Use tweezers to hold one end of the metal piece as it can get really hot when heating and melting the powder with your heat gun.
