Believe in Yourself By Magda Cortez
"Hi all.. You know I love to upcycle things and today I’m going to show you what I did with some of the Graphic 45 Packages and with an old box lid.. Also I use the button I got at CHA 2017 from the Graphic 45 booth.. it is beautiful and I have so many memories about so I was thinking to put it in a special place and that’s when my idea come! Using the old lid of a box and transform it in to a shadow box to keep my beautiful button! Also I use one of the packages from the Ornate Metal Keys and I die cut some tags from the packages of the Mixed Media Albums.. Did you know G45 has stamps and a collection of Dye Inks? I got so much fun using some stamps on vellum and over the designer paper…All the steps are in the YouTube Tutorial I hope you like it! XOXO" ~ Magda Cortez

A True Lady Gift Box by Katelyn Grosart
"Upcycling has become a big trend now and it allows you to transform an old piece you may throw out into something beautiful. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I decided to create a beautiful gift box for your mom or that special woman in your life, out of an old taffy box and used the Portrait of a Lady collection as well as some Staples. I hope you enjoy all the photos and are inspired to choose a piece to upcycle at home." ~Katelyn Grosart
Before
Tip:
To add some extra interest to the front of your box, combine a label holder, a sticker, a chipboard piece and some fussy cut images to create a beautiful front to your box.
Tip:
If your box is tight when closing and opening it, adhere washi tape in the corners to help prevent ruining the corners of the patterned paper.
Tip:
Add claw feet to the bottom of the box to give it some extra character.
